POST 4 - What's Santiago like?

Life in Santiago is very interesting and chaotic.
Yes you can do anything! (except look at the sea) But exist a lot of places, parks, discoteques, on the other hand, you have hospitals, universities, subway and a bus network (not the most efficient in the world, but at least it reaches many places).  to entertaiment you should go to the center of the city or some of the hill existing (it depends what you are looking for)

Santiago's a big city, the major part of people live far away from the center of the city, that means the people need the bus, the subway, cars, or some means of transport in their cotidian life, also the places distant of the center, often be characterised for be a boring places without any other thing, only houses and strip centers, but the center of the city it is so exiting and you have a lot of things to do, parks, museums, and a multicultural enviroment.

In conclusion, Santiago is a big city with many equipment, and you have any thing that you desire, and all relatively near, but you always have the noisy cars, grey streets, and a few landscapes to evade the stressful life generated, many times by the chaotic type of transport, and the time it takes you.

  2. Well I agree on the fact that Santiago is interesting and chatotic at the same time, also that you have many options to visit different atracctions. But although among these good characteristics there is one bad characteristic wich affects me a lot and almost erease every good aspect, and it corresponds to the lack of skateparks that there is in the city. We as skaters need more spaces to practice our sport if we dont want to interfere too much on other spots that aren´t meant to be skated.

  3. In my opinion, the city has a poor distribution of recreational spaces.

  4. The bad thing is that if you live far away, you lose a lot of time in getting to the "interesting" places you want to visit
